I just finished your book. I could not put it down, I read it in about 18 hours. The Shack was exactly what I was needing in my life right now. I am struggling with my convictions and the belief in God and this book brought a whole new meaning to my thoughts. Especially when God is telling Mack he has to forgive the murderer. I have struggled my whole life to forgive my father for very many things and those pages that stated that it was still okay to forgive and be angry but day by day it will lessen, enlightened me so much. I am striving towards a path of forgiveness. I thank you with all my heart for this book and having the right words to put into a publication for individuals like me to come upon. Thank you again!

I am about half way through your book. I personally love the book. I read a chapter and then put it down and think about what I have read. I have talked to my mother-inlaw about this book unfornuately she absolutely hates it! I asked her why and she stated there was no way that God would come down to the earth in the form of a woman no less and visit with us like you describe in your book. Also that the Holy Spirit could not be a woman. She stated that God is Holy, majastic and would not do this. I have never seen her so adament about something. I tired to tell her that I thought God would come to us like this and tired to explain my side. She would not listen. I am really confused by her reaction. I have only gotten half way thru it and have fallen in love with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the love that He has for us. We have recently had two deaths in our Church that was a surprise because it was so sudden and I know that the gentleman that died last night loved your book because he and I had conversations about it. I think this book has helped me with these deaths. I thank you for this book.
