wow, that's an interesting way to put it. on the one hand, we can all try to be more caring regardless of what we've been through. on the other hand, it's hard not to hold some prejudices about others, because that's what we're use to doing. Unfortunately, i am an expert wall builder, but i'm trying to build more bridges.

Eu sou brasileira e hoje pela manhã acabei de ler o livro “A Cabana”. Estou emocionada. Este livro é simplesmente incrível e até inimaginável. Penso que é real, me tocou demais e eu não perdoaria se não tivesse acontecido. Para contar a história, foi uma amiga que eu amo muito que me deu este livro porque eu não estive muito bem os ultimos dias… Comecei a ler a princípio achei que era uma grande bobagem para vender mais e mais livros. Mas por pedido dessa amiga continuei a ler. A cada página que seguia eu ficava mais impressionada e crente de que tinha que acreditar no que lia, as pessoas normais não podem escrever uma história assim só para brincar com as emoções das pessoas. A pouco, dei o livro para minha mãe ler, espero contribuir ao máximo para o Projeto Missy. Farei o possível porque acredito que haverá mudança. “Se uma coisa é importante, tudo é importante.” E que Deus esteja conosco.

I felt the story could start many people talking about God and prayer. I never forgot it was intended to be a story and the image of Papa, the loving, maternal God was one of the most comforting images I have ever pictured.
I find that this book, along with Forgiving Ararat by Gita Nazareth and The Lovely Bones to be especially good in raising an intellectual religious debate.

William Paul Young, thanks for this book. A friend of mine gave me the book to read.
Once I began to read it I couldn't put it down. I cried serveral times while reading it.
You see, we lost a 3 year old grandson in 20005. It was the worst tribulation in my life. I had to be strong for my wife, son and daughter inlaw and I didn't have a chance to morn.
I realize that only God could help me do this and of course he did.
I believe that reading your book allowed my inner feelings to be released and shed those tears I hadn't shed during that time.
